ellie now knows what phone is for. well she does "hello?" to almost every object she picks up.. she also dances to music nowadays. too bad i didn't catch her dance when she's standing up :)

Christmas present put into use

we had a little celebration for ellie's 1 year old bday. thanks to ellie, ethan had ice cream cake to eat! she made a mess but she had fun :)

Weekend fun~

Ethan's pictures are really hard to take. he always makes goofy faces or tried to grab my camera. Here are couple shots i took on the weekend (ellei's chill'n on the stroller and watching her brother slay monsters with sword.. :) )

Snow Day! 下雪啦～

there's this one day when it was pouring rain outside of our house and we thought we might venture to the mountains to see if it was snowing. sure enough it was snowing cats and dogs up in the mountain. it was freeeeezing cold up in the mountain. too bad the kids didn't have snow gears to play in the snow long enough. ellie was probably out there for 5 seconds to take some pictures before we pack up and head down the mountain. ethan had a lot of fun running around in the snow :)

There's finally a sunny day to use my DSLR!

what a difference in picture quality between my DSLR and my point-and-shoot camera! well it better be better because it's 5x more expensive hehe here's ellie just cruising along the wall and in the big empty room =)

here's a quick summary of all the events that we went through ever since ellie was born =P i just didn't have the time to update the blog as the events ended. i would rather catch up on my sleep if i have extra time ;)

Christmas 2008~
although ellie seemed to like eating the wrapping paper and climbing over the presents more than opening presents and ethan was more interested in playing with ellie's present more than his, we still had fun ^O^ even the cats had fun playing in the empty boxes.

Pumpkin Patch!
I took ethan to pumpkin patch this year to pick out pumpkins so we can carve them. there were bounce house, slides, some dangerous looking rides but ethan didn't want to try them out. it was an experience we had to try out. i probably would just get the pumpkins from market this year..


Halloween
we went to riverside plaza for trick-or-treating. we figured that it would be safer and more fun that way than knocking on people's door. we got everything from candies to a free kids meal at Islands restaurant. mr. i-fight-monsters was a little scared when he saw kids wearing zombie masks ^^; ethan dressed up as his favorite blue robot. the mask was too big so he didn't keep it on long enough for me to take pictures.

it seems like i only have time to post on my blog once a month =P i tried to take ellie's picture but she's just so wiggly and wobbly that every pictures comes out blurry. here's a video clip of ellie crawling. i had to shut the video off because i was getting attacked!

Long time no see!

i know.. i know.. it's been 3 months since i did anything with the blog but i just couldn't find the energy and time to post anything! ellie's now 5 1/2 months old and she's already rolling around and wanting to crawl to places.

Disneyland!

We took Ethan to Disneyland last weekend because we were all bored. It was hot but we had a lot of fun. Ethan did well waiting in line =)

Ellie! Smile~

It's been almost a month since i posted anything. ellie was being trained to drink formula from bottle and it took about two weeks for her to drink formula from the bottle without fussing. now that she's two months old and more content, she smiles! it's kind of hard to catch her smile on the camera (she will smile at people just not cameras). here's couple pictures of her smiling and a short video.

Well she's 2 days from being 4 weeks old =) she's getting chunky! i know her eyes are crossed in some photos but that's because young babies don't have good control of their muscles yet.

How Ethan can be entertained with less than $1

Grandpa brought party blowout to entertain the little monster. kids are so easily entertained (which is a good thing!)

Introducing Elyse Rei Park!

Our daughter Elyse Rei Park (we'll call her Ellie for short) was born on 3/26/08 at 10:42pm. She was 7.1 lbs and 18 3/4 inches. I will get more pictures as she becomes more alert. She spends most of her day (especially in the morning) sleeping for now. Here she is:
